The ACI, together with IATA has published best practice guidance for the restarting of operations and long term recovery.
ACI World expects business to return in four phases, starting with a limited number of passengers, followed by a slow increase in numbers, and then a scale-up in capacity followed by a return to normal volumes.
Airports are not expected to abide by all the guidance, but it gives them advice to implement the most appropriate measures for their circumstances.
