KGT has successfully won the contract to supply the security screening equipment for Ethiopian Airlines new Cargo Terminal at Addis Ababa Bole International Airport.
The new terminal will be the largest Air Cargo Terminal in Africa and one of the largest in the world with a capacity of 1 million tonnes per annum. Covering a total area of 150,000 sq m the new facility includes a dry cargo terminal warehouse, a perishable cargo terminal with cool chain storage, fully automated with elevating transport vehicle (ETV) technology, multi-climate chambers and an apron area for five additional large freighter aircraft.
The $150 million Terminal will utilise the most cutting-edge security screening technology with the highest levels of security certification including:

- Explosive Trace Detection
- Liquid Explosive Trace Detection
- Narcotics Detection
